Research into how Swedish students learn has mainly been based on qualitative methods In this paper we report evidence of the appropriateness of a Sweden version of the Biggs Study Process Questionnaire for 149 Swedish students in education. The questionnaire's scales were moderately internally consistent and showed the expected underlying factor structure. Scores on the scales correlated as predicted with a measure of self-esteem. Possible uses of this questionnaire with Swedish students are discussed.
