This study examined sources of information within a single large professional services firm. 1608 women and men indicated amount received, preferred sources, and value of information from nine specific sources. Respondents received, preferred, and attached greater value to interpersonal sources. Official company publications and bulletin boards provided less, were less preferred, and less valued sources of information.
