This study examined the relationship between product satisfaction and replacement rate. It was hypothesized that an inverse relationship existed between the two constructs. Analysis of responses from 44 individuals who responded to an advertisement for a miniature precision lamp suggested the hypothesis was confirmed, i.e., higher satisfaction tends to be associated with lower rates of replacement and vice versa.
