Abstract
To gather some idea of the extent of the practice of wearing baseball-type caps with the peak in back, informal observations were conducted in the downtown area of a large city and on two college campuses. Analysis showed that, in the downtown area as well as at the college located in that area, about 40% of cap wearers had the peak to the rear, but at the other college situated in an outer borough of the city, the percentage was approximately 10%.
