This paper suggests how, in a schizophrenic disorder, the messianic patient may merge color-symbolization (green) and religious-symbolization (the crucifix) into one symbol (the green crucifix) wherein for some psychotics a personal conception of God and the psychosis may take on the symbol of the green crucifix.
