Abstract
A new scale of expressed and inventoried interest agreement was developed from the item responses of 164 college students to the 1985 Strong-Campbell Interest Inventory of Hansen and Campbell. Scores on this scale were then correlated with eight Strong-Campbell career development scales using Pearson product-moment correlations. These scales were Academic Comfort, Introversion-Extraversion, Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional. All correlations were statistically significant; expressed and inventoried interest agreement was positively relateto introversion and negatively related to the other scales
