Abstract
The report of an association between Daniel A. Prescott and Hermann Rorschach is examined for its veracity. Prescott's contemporaries report contexts of his association with Rorschach that are difficult to confirm in the historical documentation available. From this it might be concluded that Prescott's association with Rorschach never happened. One could also speculate that it happened at a time for which we do not yet have documentation or it was a case of mistaken identity, with Prescott believing that someone who purported to be Rorschach was Rorschach.
