71 members of a retirees' group (M age = 68 yr.) in northern Louisiana completed the Paranormal Belief Scale. The elder sample showed significantly less belief than a university student comparison group on Psi, Witchcraft, Superstition, Spiritualism, Extraordinary Life Forms, and Precognition. Findings probably reflect both generational and developmental processes.
