In this analysis data from the WPPSI manual were examined to determine the reliability of the Verbal IQ-Performance IQ differential (r = .81), of the differences between subtest scores (r̄ = .69), and of the differences between subtest scores and IQs (r̄ = .72). These findings indicated that WPPSI score differences were more reliable (because intercorrelations among scores were lower) than corresponding differences on the other Wechsler scales.
