Previous research has raised questions about the level of analysis associated with the variables of interest in the Vertical Dyad Linkage approach to leadership. Rather than the group level of analysis, individual and dyadic levels ate suggested as potentially appropriate levels to consider for variables included in the Vertical Dyad Linkage approach.
