The present investigation supports the idea that for 113 men and 177 women locus of control as measured by Rotter's Internal-External Locus of Control Scale is significantly related to career decidedness as measured by the Career Decision Scale of Osipow, Carney, Winer, Yanico, and Koschir. This relationship exists whether Rotter's normative data or new normative data are used.
