A survey of 720 students as to their recall of some product fads of past years (1772 to 1975) implies that people possess a relatively fair recollection about such things. Of those remembering, however, only a comparatively few had, or still have, ownership. Inclusion of two truthfulness items suggests a reasonable level of honesty on the part of the respondents.
