Abstract
The study reports effect-size computations for previous quantitative studies of the use of information on program evaluation, with a view toward identifying patterns in previous results and possible directions for further research. It is suggested that more non-simulation studies and more studies using non-university samples are needed. Studies investigating the possible influences of context on use of evaluation are also needed. Although this literature is still emerging, such research may eventually provide guidance for more effective evaluative practices.
