This study presents cluster and factor analyses of 55 parents' judgments about parental behaviors obtained through unstructured interviews with parents. Results confirm previous studies in showing that control and affection are important dimensions of parental behavior and suggest that another dimension, Active Involvement, may also be useful in understanding parents' behavior.
