Self-Reported and Self-Attributed Scores on Personality,Social Skills,and Attitudinal Measures as Compared between High and Low Nominated Friends and Acquaintances
63 females were categorized as high or low in popularity on the basis of peer nominations. Actual and self-predicted scores on five personality scales showed some significant differences between close friends and acquaintances with high and low nominations.
