The use of cognitive restructuring in treating multiple behavior problems of a 22-yr.-old female is reported. Thought-stopping was applied to reduce production of obsessive ruminations. The positive results were interpreted as illustrating the validity of symptom-specific treatment for victims in advanced phases of post-rape adjustment.
