The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator was given to 65 individuals, ranging from 18 to 65 yr. of age, involved in community theater productions. Forty-one were females and 24 were males. Participation categories of onstage only, backstage only, and a combination of both were used to analyze responses on the four scales. Significant differences were found on two scales, Extroversion-Introversion and Judgment-Perception.
