Abstract
This correlational study, using a sample of 60 men and 96 women, found the following relationships between three typologies: (a) extraversion scales from the Eysenck Personality Inventory and a Jungian test (Gray-Wheelwrights) intercorrelate highly; (b) extraversion correlates positively with somatotonia, negatively with cerebrotonia; (c) neuroticism correlates with cerebrotonia; (d) extraversion correlates positively with intuition, negatively with sensation; (e) neuroticism correlates positively with feeling, but only in women; (f) intuition correlates positively with somatotonia and negatively with cerebrotonia, but only in men. The results are discussed in terms of the theoretical assumptions underlying each of the three typologies.
