Students' expectations from introductory courses in business finance were assessed. Responses indicate that most of the 290 students were highly in favor of lecture-cum-discussion method of teaching. Use of outside resource speakers and audio-visual material would enhance their interest in the subject-matter. They also felt that the grading policy should be clearly stated by the instructor at the beginning of the course.
