A procedure is offered for estimating the Stanford-Binet IQs of subjects whose performance places them outside the limits of the 1972 revised IQ tables. More specifically, a formula is given for converting ratio IQs into deviation IQs, along with a table of the constants required to apply the formula. The method by which these constants were determined is described, and some indication is given of the error involved in the use of the procedure.
