75 men and 72 women (25 to 45 yr.) in undergraduate management courses were classified as internal and external in orientations on Rotter's I-E scale. The former perceived more informal sources of feedback such as self and co-workers as more useful but the latter perceived more formal sources as more useful. Observations are consistent with prior research.
