An item analysis of the Nettler-Huffman Radicalism-Conservatism Scale, based on the responses of 333 undergraduates, indicated that the scale continues to be a useful measure of political attitude. A 10-item revised version of the scale had a split-half reliability of .80 and substantial item-total correlations.
