An opportunity to validate further Rotter's I-E scale as a measure of felt mastery over the course of one's life was provided by the establishment of the Bard College Immediate Decision Plan. It was expected that students enrolled from this program would score more internally than students enrolled through the traditional admissions procedure. Results of the study of 150 students support this hypothesis.
