The predictive values of academic ability, goals, interests, and activities in high school vis-a-vis educational goals, career goals, and sex-role attitudes in college were assessed in a retrospective study of 36 women enrolled at a state university. The later teenage years were a period of changing goals for most of the women; however, several high school measures predicted goals or sex-role attitudes in college. The implications for related research are discussed.
