An attempt was made to replicate the previous finding that undrugged offspring of rats chronically drugged with Diphenylhydantoin demonstrated a learning deficit as measured from avoidance conditioning. The present findings call into question our previously published conclusions. One new finding was the lack of appreciable difference across drug groups regardless of the drug experience of the parent animal.
