An effort was made to determine whether sensitive Level C Psychological measures (those tests whose distribution should be restricted to only highly trained personnel) could be easily obtained from publishers by unqualified individuals in violation of APA standards. All materials requested were received. The indiscriminate distribution of sensitive testing materials can seriously impair the validity of those materials and possibly result in misuse of the materials by unqualified personnel.
