Abstract
This study examined the relationship between industrial workers' production records and personality traits in an industrial setting to establish the concurrent validity of a personality test. Certain scales of the Runner Studies of Attitude Patterns (1970) correlated well with work performance of 15 molders and 10 trimmers from a factory making pharmaceutical closures. Specific traits needed in the applicants for the position of machine operators are noted. Some particular differences in traits for the two job classifications are discussed.
