215 of 500 Canadians randomly selected from the federal electoral lists responded to the revised Eysenck Social Attitude Questionnaire in a public opinion survey. Factor analysis of the responses indicated the existence of two factors corresponding closely with the Radicalism and Toughmindedness dimensions of Eysenck. The findings also lend support to Eysenck's contention of similarity of social attitudes in western industrial societies.
