Abstract
It was predicted that capacity for fantasy is positively correlated with scores on the Exner Self-focus Sentence Completion. A daydreaming questionnaire and the Self-focus Sentence Completion were administered to 45 Israeli college freshmen and sophomores. The hypotheses were not confirmed. The data were discussed in terms of the traits measured by the test. The similarity between the test profiles of these subjects and those of a homosexual group was noted, and an alternate explanation of the instrument was advanced.
