Abstract
It was hypothesized that punctuality is a unitary trait. Four areas of university life were chosen for the study: application for admission; appearance for registration; submission of the first and second term fees by 358 students. Punctuality was measured in terms of closeness to the last official date for a given activity. For example, if the 15th of August was the last date for submission of application for admission, any student who applied on or before the 15th of August was given 100. Two points were deducted for one day's delay (excluding Saturdays and Sundays). Subjects' scores in all the four areas were correlated. Results confirmed the hypothesis.
