A 24-item test which measured understanding of logical connectives was administered to a sample of 171 high school adolescents (14 to 19 yr. of age). A set of 3 hypotheses relating to logical connectives was examined. Two of the 3 results such as negated propositions being more difficult to understand than non-negated propositions are consonant with findings from previous research on logical connectives.
