Attitudes, measured on a 7-point semantic differential, of 25 nursing personnel toward concepts about alcoholics and their treatment potential improved after a 3-day training program. Interest was directed at whether these changes in concepts would remain stable and influence the effectiveness of the participants in their subsequent work with alcoholics.
