Significant correlations were found between scores on the introversion-extraversion scale of the Eysenck Personality Inventory and the rated ease with which abstract and concrete nouns evoked images for 111 Ss. Ease of imagery was not related to the neuroticism scores, nor was there a significant correlation between ease of imagery scores for abstract and for concrete nouns.
