A study of the effect of TAT n Ach on continuation in college. n Ach scores for 354 males were obtained prior to freshman year, school status determined in a follow-up 2 yr. later. The findings fail to support the hypothesis that n Ach has an appreciable effect on continuation in college, even when objective probability of success is controlled.
