The relationship between values and financial status was investigated in 49 business administrators using a longitudinal design. Values were measured using the Allport-Vernon-Lindzey “Study of Values.” The results indicated that there were no changes in values over the period assessed even though substantial changes in financial status occurred. The data also demonstrate that values are not related to success in business.
