Abstract
This report summarizes results of a questionnaire survey of Rochdale College in June, 1971. Rochdale College is an 18-storey building used primarily for residential purposes, viewed from within as a community and thought of from without as a haven for long-haired, drug-using, unwashed, welfare-receiving American draft-dodgers. Approximately 31% of the known residents returned the questionnaire. The responses help clarify questions about age, sex, and marital distribution, education, place of birth, income, activities in Rochdale, non-medical drug use, and health habits.
