This study was undertaken to re-examine several variables noted in literature as theoretically related to dating frequency among high school seniors. Scholastic aptitude and achievement and school-related activities were negatively related or unrelated to dating frequency. A job, a car, and plans for marrying younger were positively related to dating frequency, but contrary to expectations, SES was not.
