342 Ss were administered the Kuhlmann-Anderson Test using 4 different sets of instructions to 3 predetermined ability groups within each of 3 grade levels. Analysis of variance considering variation in response related to ability levels, grade level (age), instruction, and sex was used. Instructional sets and sex differences were not significant; however, ability and grade level (age) were.
