79 students enrolled in a process-oriented learning program for academic low achievers completed the CTMM 1 mo. prior to enrollment and again 14 wk. later. The results show that, as a group, IQs of these Ss improved significantly (p < .001), that men and women improved equally but appreciably (p < .001), and that Ss initially scoring in the lower 42% of pretest scores improved more (p < .001) than Ss initially scoring in the higher 42%, as might be expected.
