The purpose of this investigation was to study changes in personality structure after psychotherapy and to assess how stable the personality structure of 127 alcoholics was after they had gone through detoxification. Personality structure was measured by Jackson's (1967) Personality Research Form (PRF). Statistically significant but not meaningful changes were found in scores on the personality test after psychotherapy, personality structure seemed quite stable or reliable for alcoholics.
