Koppitz' list of 30 HFD emotional indicators was used to compare drawings of “shy” and “aggressive” children, Ss were 97 pairs of children between 5 and 12 yr. and were matched for age, sex and IQ. Contrary to previous research, no significant differences characterized the drawings of the two groups. Possible reasons for the difference between the original and present study are given.
