The temporal stabilities over 6 mo. of the various measures obtained on the PPVT were studied in two groups each of 17 kindergarten and 22 third grade children. For half the children in each grade, the summer holiday intervened between administrations; the others in each grade were tested within the same school year. The correlations showed age differences as well as the effects of the intervention of summer in the younger children.
