Gamma alcoholics (N = 25) were found to be deficient in a basic response repertoire for names of types of mixed alcoholic drinks as compared with a matched sample of social drinkers (N = 25) and a sample of alcoholic bartenders (N = 10). The deficiency is interpreted as a learning deficit.
