Dimensions of Davids' alienation syndrome, egocentricity, distrust, pessimism, anxiety and resentment among Catholic male undergraduates were comparable to those reported for students at a high prestige private university. 30 Ss showed significantly less alienation on a verbal projective and significantly more alienation on a pictoral projective measure. Ss also showed significantly less variability on 4 of the 5 alienation measures than the normative group.
