Survey of Areas of Moral Awareness and Formation of Principles Basic to the Construction of a Scale to Measure Conscience

Abstract

An attempt was made to collect a comprehensive list of moral items from groups of Ss from various walks of life. Ss were asked to submit lists of actual situations in which they might feel twinges of conscience. The collected items were classified into 75 different categories.
