A small receptacle for intracranial electrode leads requiring no direct soldering during implantation is described. The numerous advantages include simplicity of lead attachment; multidirectional, easy plug insertion, and secure fit regardless of number of leads attached. This connector has been used with both restrained and free-moving squirrel monkeys.
