Quick Test IQs of 102, 96, and 76 for 30 Negro attendants (high school), 11 Negro attendants (non-high school), and 53 Negro patients (range of 0 yr. to Master's, Mdn = Grade 10) of a Southern state hospital were positively related to the educational (socio-economic) levels of the groups and were lower than the mean IQ of the normative Caucasian adults. Development of local norms is definitely advised.
