This study investigated the effects of anxiety and phenothiazine action on stimulus generalization. Significantly higher conditioning was demonstrated in the higher anxiety groups, as well as enhancement of stimulus generalization in the phenothiazine groups. Explanations of the change in cardiac response were sought in terms of anxiety level and drug action.
