A principal components analysis was performed on the scores obtained from a vocabulary test, the GPA, the OSPE and the four subscores of a Solutions Test, adaptiveness, inventiveness, relevance, and quantity (N = 92 undergraduate male students). Kaiser's normal varimax procedure yielded the following five factors: adaptiveness, verbal intelligence, inventiveness, general scholastic achievement, and verbal scholastic ability.
