This report relates Jensen Alternation Board (JAB) performance of 50 white male primary retardates to their S-B IQ and PPVT IQ scores. The results demonstrated that use of the JAB with retardates was feasible, however, little variance was accounted for by using S-B IQ and PPVT IQ tests as predictors. The hypothesis that the JAB is not a conventional IQ test in retardates, as in mental patients, was supported.
